XIM University : As per the provisions of the Xavier University, Odisha Act, 2013, the Xavier University was established on 6 July, 2013. In 2021, the Xavier University, Odisha (Amendment) Act 2021 was passed by the Odisha Legislative Assembly renaming Xavier University as XIM University. It aims to inspire future generations of students to aspire for excellent quality higher education by continuing to introduce new programs to groom visionary, competent, committed, passionate and value-based leaders.

Entrance Examination : XIM University uses both JEE Main and Xavier Engineering Selection Test (XEST) for admission into various B.Tech courses. Â
