VIT University: Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is a private research deemed university located in Katpadi in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. Founded in 1984 as Vellore Engineering College by G. Viswanathan. VIT is also planning to start many innovative UG and PG programmes, in collaboration with Indian industries and reputed universities abroad.

Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) started the B Tech entrance exam on Apr 17th, 2023 in 125 cities across India and abroad.  

VITEEE is undoubtedly the most popular Engineering entrance test for students aspiring for engineering programmes among the private colleges. The computer-based entrance exam is conducted every year for admission to B. Tech programmes offered at VIT campuses – Vellore, Chennai, Amaravati and Bhopal.

The VITEEE Exam: is going to be held in 3 shifts and end on Apr 23rd, 2023.

Applicants within 1 lakh ranks can participate in the online counseling for admission to B. Tech. programmes, tentatively scheduled from April 26 to June 14.

VITEEE 2023 results: The VITEEE 2023 results will be declared tentatively in the last week of Apr 2023. 

VIT B Tech Placement 2023: VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) saw a historic high during the first slot placements, with two of its students bagging a job offer of INR 1.02 Crore per annum. The offer was rolled out by Motorq, a start-up, cloud-based connected car data company based in California, USA.

With this, VIT also embarks on the “1 Crore Package League” during its current placement season (2023) for B.Tech students. Two students from the current batch – Amit Agarwal & Shrithak Bharadwaj, who are in their final year currently, bagged placement offers of INR 1.02 Cr per annum.
