IIT Ropar

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar: The Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT-Delhi) is a public institute of technology located in Punjab. It is one of the eight Indian Institutes Of Technology established in 2008 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India under the Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2011.

Eligibility 

The candidates must adhere to the following criteria:

1. Passed XII standard examination or equivalent 
2. Mandatory subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics 
3. Qualify JEE Main and JEE Advanced
4. Aggregate marks of 75% (65% for PwD candidates) in XII standard 

Selection Process 

1. Students must appear for JEE Main
2. They must qualify for JEE Advanced, which is specifically for admission into IITs.
3. After the result are out must seat for the JoSAA counseling and choose their preferences
4. Seat is allocated based on the JEE Advanced rank and available seats
