About IIT Goa: Established in 2016, Indian Institute of Technology Goa ( IIT Goa) is an autonomous public university after an IIT was allocated to Goa by the Central Government in 2016. It is recognised as an Institute of National Importance and currently offers B.Tech, M.Tech and PhD courses in various core and one non-core branches of engineering.

B Tech Eligibility 

The candidates must adhere to the following criteria:

1.  Passed XII standard examination or equivalent 
2. Mandatory subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics 
3.  Qualify JEE Main and JEE Advanced 
4. Aggregate marks of 75% (65% for PwD candidates) in XII standard 

B Tech Selection Process 

1.  Students must appear for JEE Main
2.  They must qualify for JEE Advanced, which is specifically for admission into IITs.
3.  After the result are out must seat for the JoSAA counseling and choose according to their preferences 
4.  Seat is allocated based on the JEE Advanced rank
5.  To confirm their seat, students must pay the admission fee

1. Placement rate: 90.6 %
2.  Average package: 15.41 LPA
3.  Median Package: 11.50 LPA
