About IIT Delhi : The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT-Delhi) is a public institute of technology and is one of the 23 Indian Institutes of Technology. Established in 1961, it was formally inaugurated in August 1961 by Humayun Kabir, Minister of Scientific Research & Cultural Affairs. It was later declared an Institute of National Importance under the Institutes of Technology Amendment Act, 1963.

B Tech Eligibility ~ The candidates must adhere to the following criteria:

1.  Passed XII standard examination or equivalent 
2.  Mandatory subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics 
3.  Qualify JEE Main and JEE Advanced 
4. Aggregate marks of 75% (65% for PwD candidates) in XII standard 

Selection Process 

1. Students must appear for JEE Main
2. They must qualify for JEE Advanced, which is specifically for admission into IITs.
3. After the result are out must seat for the JoSAA counseling and choose their preferences
4. Seat is allocated based on the JEE Advanced rank and available seats
5. Selected candidates must report to IIT Delhi for document verification and fee payment to confirm their admission
