IIT Bombay

About IIT Bombay: Established in 1958 with assistance from UNESCO and with funds from the Soviet Union, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT- Bombay or IIT- B) was the second Indian Institute of Technology to be established. It is known for two-or-three-year Master of Technology (M.Tech), four-year Bachelor of Science (B.S.), the two-year Master of Science (M.Sc.) and five-year Inter- Disciplinary Dual-Degree Programme(IDDDP).

Eligibility – The candidates must adhere to the following criteria:

1. Passed XII standard examination or equivalent 
2. Mandatory subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics 
3. Qualify JEE Main and JEE Advanced 
4. One of the following: aggregate marks of 75% (65% for PwD candidates) in XII standard OR be within the top 20 percentile category-wise successful candidates in XII examination. 

Selection Process 

1. Students must appear for JEE Main
2. They must qualify for JEE Advanced, which is specifically for admission into IITs.
3. After the result are out must seat for the JoSAA counseling and choose IIT Bombay 
4. Seat is allocated based on the JEE Advanced rank
5. To confirm their seat, students must pay the admission fee
