Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO): AMET is deemed to be a university; it is recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Government of India, for the period 2022-2025.

• Qualification: A pass in Plus-Two (12th Standard ) or its equivalent, with a minimum 50% aggregate in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry group and 55% marks in English from a recognized Board.
• Age: Below 25 years at the time of commencement of the Programme.
• Gender: Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply  
• Physical fitness: Candidates must undergo a Medical Test for Physical Fitness.

Admission Process:  AMET University grants admission through a written examination and personal interview.
