XIM University

XIM University : As per the provisions of the Xavier University, Odisha Act, 2013, the Xavier University was established on 6 July, 2013. In 2021, the Xavier University, Odisha (Amendment) Act 2021 was passed by the Odisha Legislative Assembly renaming Xavier University as XIM University. It aims to inspire future generations of students to aspire for excellent quality higher education by continuing to introduce new programs to groom visionary, competent, committed, passionate and value-based leaders.

Entrance Examination : XIM University uses both JEE Main and Xavier Engineering Selection Test (XEST) for admission into various B.Tech courses.  

JEE Main conduct 2 sessions per year

Registration: 28 October 2024

Deadline: 22 November, 2024

Exam Date: 22- 31 January, 2025

Result: 12 February, 2025

• Session 2

Registration: 31 January, 2025

Deadline: 24 February, 2025

Exam Date: 2-9 April, 2025

Result: 19 April, 2025

3.  B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering 

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible, the following should be met-

1. Passed XII standard or equivalent examination 
2.  Minimum aggregate score of 60%
3. Mandatory subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry

• Candidates must register themselves on the official university website and obtain their unique XU ID and password 
• Use the Unique XU ID and password to login to the website 
•  Fill out the application form with the necessary details and upload the required documents 
•  Pay a fee of Rs. 1500 through online payment gateway 
•  The selection will be done on merit and personal interview 
• Scholarships

XIM University offers various scholarships but only to UG student 

1.  Scholarship based on merit of XII standard 
2.  Merit Scholarship based on the result at the end of each year
3.  Means Scholarship to 3 candidates from SC, ST, economically backward or minorities category
