About IIT Tirupati : Founded in 2015, the Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati (IIT Tirupati) is one of the 23 and a third generation Indian Institute of Technology. It offers a 4-year Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) along with 2-year Master of Science (M.Sc), Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Public Policy (MPP) & Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programmes in several engineering, science and humanities fields.

B Tech Eligibility – The candidates must adhere to the following criteria:

1.  Passed XII standard examination or equivalent 
2.  Mandatory subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics 
3.  Qualify JEE Main and JEE Advanced 
4.  Aggregate marks of 75% (65% for PwD candidates) in XII standard 

Selection Process

1.  Admissions are primarily based on Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced Scores
2.  All candidates must register and appear for JEE Main and Qualify for JEE Advanced 
3. Once the JEE Advanced results are out, candidates are to participate in the (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) JoSAA counseling where based on their rank and category preference their seat allocation will be decided.
