About IIT Dharwad: Established in 2016, Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad (IIT Dharwad or IIT-DH) is an autonomous engineering and technology institute in Karnataka. Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) was tasked with mentoring IIT Dharwad with the Ministry of Education setting up IIT monitoring cell at IIT Bombay.

B Tech Eligibility 

The candidates must adhere to the following criteria:

1.  Passed XII standard examination or equivalent 
2.  Mandatory subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics 
3.  Qualify JEE Main and JEE Advanced 
4.  Aggregate marks of 75% (65% for PwD candidates) in XII standard 

B Tech Selection Process 

1.  Students must appear for JEE Main
2.  They must qualify for the JEE Advanced, which is specifically for admission into IITs.
3.  After the result are out must seat for the JoSAA counseling and choose according their preferences 
4.  Seat is allocated based on the JEE Advanced rank
