KIITEE

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar, has kickstarted the application process for the KIIT entrance exam (KIITEE) . Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can navigate to kiitee.kiit.ac.in. Application Form and Prospectus will be available online only. It will not be available in hard copy.

Applicants are requested to check the Eligibility Criteria for KIITEE 2024 before applying for the process. Age Limit : Lower age should be 17 years as on 31.12.25 & Upper age limit should be maximum 35 years as on 31.12.25

How to apply KIITEE:

• Visit the official website at kiitee.kiit.ac.in.
• Locate and click on the registration option on the homepage.
• Fill out the registration form, providing essential details like name, email id, and contact information.
• Log in using the credentials generated during registration.
• Complete the application form with the required information.
• Upload the necessary documents and proceed to pay the fees.
• Upon submission, download and secure a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

The KIITEE-2024 Quota Seats are distributed among different categories of candidates as follows. Separate Merit list will be prepared for each Category. Physically Challenged: Candidates will be considered eligible for admission under PC Category, who are having 40% disabilities in consonance with Section-39 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Participation) Act, 1995. As the institution is not having adequate facilities, the candidates having locomotor disabilities are only eligible to apply for KIITEE- 2024. 

Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech. (4 years)/B.Design (4 Years) B.Tech & M.Tech. -Biotechnology(5 years):- Candidates applying for B.Tech.(4 years), B.Tech & M.Tech.-Biotechnology Course should fulfill the following criteria. 

• Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination in 2022, 2023 or appearing in 10+2 examination in 2024 are only eligible to apply for B.Tech (4 years),B.Design, B.Tech & M.Tech. -Biotechnology course of the University.
• Should have studied in regular full time formal education in their schooling / college. 
• Pass in 10 +2 or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together. 
• B.Tech. & M.Tech. -Biotechnology. Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology taken together. 
• Should have been born on or after 01.07.2003.

KIIT B Tech Placement 2023: KIIT University, Bhubaneswar released the B Tech placement data for 2023 batch. This year’s highest salary offered at this Deemed University has been Rs.  62 Lakhs. per annum. The highest salary clocked by last year batch was Rs. 52 Lakhs per annum. This year the average CTC has been Rs. 8.5 lakhs per annum.

According to KIIT, 3600 job offers by 280 companies were rolled in already for a batch size of 2800 B.Tech students of which 92% of the batch i.e 2600 students have already got job offers in the placement drive which started in May last year.

• 82 companies visited the campus offering annual pay packages of more than Rs. 10 lakh. 
• 1500 students were placed in “Dream Companies” with CTC of Rs. 15 lakh or more. 
• 1000 students were placed with a pay package ranging from Rs. 10 – 15 lakh.
• 1100 students have received multiple job offers.

Incidentally, KIIT University is also celebrating its Silver Jubilee year and the  successful placement run for its large batch of engineering students added cheer to the festive moods.
